Wbn easily; second and third driving. MISS BABE, in closest pursuit from the start, raced on the inside throughout and, finishing fast, passed the leader and won going away. WILBUR C. WHITEHEAD, away well, raced into a good lead quickly and, setting a fast pace, fiinshed gamely, but was not persevered with in the final strides j and almost lost second place. KUMONIN finished with a rush on the inside and outgamed TAILTEANN ; in the final strides. The latter raced prominently from the start. CLIQUE began well, but was alwaye far back. DESPERATE DESMOND was saved back of the pacemaker to the stretch and, moving up when called on, passed SUBURBAN and won casing up.- SUBURBAN set a fast pace from the start,, but tired in the stretch drive. MOMS BOY propped at the start, but worked his way up and finished! gamely. LADY LONG RIDGE raced prominently to the stretch and tired badly. LOUVERNE finished, well. RIVAL, away quickly, crossed over sharply and caused a jam which forced LANIUS to be taken up, then drew away into a good lead and kept it, but was hard ridden at the end. REPARATION, close up from the start, came on the outside when entering the stretch and made a fast finish. LUCKY ILAY, close up from the start, saved ground on the stretch turn, but tired and was not punished in the final sixteenth. INFINITE met with early interference. BILLY WARREN had no mishaps. Won easily; second and third driving. LADKIN, away well, was saved close up in the early running and, moving up swiftly after entering the stretch, passed LAURANO and won casing up. KLONDYKE began slowly, but saved; ground on the turns and, finishing with a rush on the inside, outfinished LAURANO in the final strides.. LAURANO set an extremely fast pace and raced WORTHMORB into defeat, but tired badly, in the final sixteenth. BRACADALE was hard ridden, but could not improve his position.
