TURF NEWS OF THE DAY FROM HAMILTON HAMILTON, Ont. June 24. Dellahm ran in a hackmore in the third race. E. P. Summerfield will ship from Fort Erie to Timonium. Willie Martin is an arrival from Ohio, where he has been acting as patrol judge. Tidings broke down in her last race and probably will not race again until next spring. W. J. Foley severed his connection with V. Gallo, for whom he trained on the eastern end of the circuit Fred Musante arrived from Kentucky with a stable of three. Canada this year will miss My Dear, an old favorite from this barn. She has been retired and bred to Pennant-Fred Schelke is campaigning several horses at the meeting. Some of them will carry the colors of the Brookdale Stable. The others will represent J. C. Fletcher. Ed Wythe counted sixty-six riders on his list of eligibles here before the first race went to the post and expects that seventy-five will be on the roster before the end of the meeting. Wash Norvell distributed condition books for the Kenilworth Park summer meeting, which will run from July 21 to July 2S. Mr. Norvell is racing secretary at the Windsor course. His book drew generally favorable comment from the horsemen. It is believed that the meeting will be well patronized.
