W. J. SALMON BUYS J. MAIBEN CONTRACT SARATOGA SPRINGS, X. Y., Aug. 9. Walter J. Salmon has purchased the contract of jockey Johnny Mai-ben from E. G. Soule for a reported price of 1,000. Maiben has been riding with great success over the New York tracks and the contract is for a lengthy term.
