Won ridden out; second and third driving. BILL McCLOY forced a fast pace and, taking the lead on the turn, he drew away during the stretch and had something left when CAVEAT EMPTOR challenged. The latter -was well up from the start and finished fast. YUBAN was quickest to find her stride, but was beaten at the three-eighths post, but hung on well in the closing drive, though evidently is not game-. NIZAM was always close up to the leaders and came through on the inside in the stretch. SISTER JOSELLA was slow to get started and .was forced wide on the turn and made up much ground. Won driving; second and third the same. POOR PUSS, showing excellent speed, dashed into a commanding lead quickly and was never seriously menaced. She is in the best of form now. PIEDRA had no excuse. He was in a good position all the way, lost but little ground on the turns and was gaining at the end. RESTFUL was slow to get going, but finished fast on the outside in the last three-eighths. She should improve from this race. II. WARREN ran his race. FLAME tired badly chasing the winner. Won driving; second and third the same. GRAYSON moved up to the pacemaker turning for home and drew away in the final eighth, but had to be ridden out at the end. HONEY DEAR set a fast pace early and only gave way in the final sixteenth. GOLDEN RED had little excuse, saved ground all the way and outlasted VIBRATOR for third place. VIBRATOR came from far back and was forced around the leaders entering the stretch. RUBY dropped completely out of it after racing a half and appeared sore when pulled up. SWEETGRASS was never far back, lost ground on the turn, but finished well up and just outlasted BOLIVAR BOND. The latter could not keep up in the early racing, but saved ground on the turn and was gaining fast. BRIGHT IDEA was slow to get going, but moved up rapidly on the turn and was forced out to the middle of the track entering the stretch. THE WORLD outclassed his opponents for speed and, leading throughout by a safe margin, was never seriously threatened. LITTLE CLAIR ran at an even pace throughout, lost some ground turning for home and outgamed TIS SETH through the final eighth. TIS SETH was rushed through on the inside going to the first turn and was never away from the rail. He appeared done at the head of the strHch, but came again. EMINENT ran a gocd race and was gaining steadily in the final quarter. TANGERINE made up ground in the final half. CHERRY TREE ran a good race for three-quarters and was rased up when beaten.
