Won driving: second and third the same. ARCTIC KING began well, but was outpaced in the early running and, working his way to the leadcis on the last turn, raced into the lead in the last two strides. C. A. COMISKEY was always i fairly close up and made a fast finish. SCAMPER closed a great gap and finished with a rush. VODKA set a good pace to the stretch and tired. LUCKY HAYES ran well. GRAYSON began fast and ran -jvcll, but tired when he appeared to have a chance at the final eighth post. TOP TIP MORNING made up ground steadily and finished fast. TOOTEKS set the early pace, but quit badly when challenged at the end of throe-eighths. MAYOR HOUSE rushed up on the outside from a slow start and tired on the last turn. VIBRATOR ran poorly. AVAR WINNER ran close up all the way and made a game finish. SENATOR DONLAN came from far back on the outside and raced in improving form. SAMPLE ran well. MAD NELL uit after setting the early pace. DELLAnM took a short lead under restraint and when PIEDRA and COLONEL LIT rushed up to him was taken back and waited with until on the final turn, from where he meed to the tiring pacemakers and outflnished AVILLOW TREE in the final strides. The latter was -usbed up too soon, but finished well on the inside and gamely contested the winners advantage. CANUTE was outrun early, was sent along rapidly on the far turn and when challenging the leaders at the eighth post was forced into a bumping match with the winner and the tiring PIEDBA. LOUIS made up some ground, but ran a dull race. COLONEL LIT quit badly. PLUNGER quit. PIEDRA raced Into the lead, but was crowded and fell, his rider escaping unhurt. FIRM FRIEND saved ground on all the turns and appeared the winner when he took the lead n eighth out, but tired when in the final drive. BELLE OF ELI ZA BETHTO WN ran well and saved ground on all the turns. TIME EXPOSURE lost all chance when he began slowly and was impeded considerably in the first quarter. FRANK S. showed a high order of speed in pacemaking, but quit badly when the others moved up on liiin. AL HOTFOOT made up ground from a slow start.
