TO ENLARGE NIAGARA TRACK MONTREAL, Que.. April 11.— P. C. Demetre, director of the Belleville Out. Driving and Athletic Club, stated today that in all prol -ability the race track at Niagara Falls wauld be extended frr,m a half-mile to one mile, in view of the increased taxation imposed upon it by the Ontario government. This lax was recently raised from ,500 to ,500, which latter figure represents the same tax as levied on mile tracks. Montreal interests own the Niagara lfalls track.
