; I =6 JOCKEY F. LUX KILLED COLUMBUS, O., May S.— A fatal accident marred the running of the opening race here this afternoon. As the field became straight-, ened out on the back stretch, Mary Rock, with jockey Frank C. Lux up, apparently crossed her legs and went down and Sedan, with jockey E. Demayo astride, fell over her. Lux suffered a broken neck and was dead when removed from the track. Demayo escaped with a fractured rib. Luxs home town is unknown.
