Won driving: second and third the same. LANYARD took the lead so.in after the start and was headed after entering the stretch by ROSINA. but outgnmed her at the -nd. ROSINA showed much speed throughout hut. after taking the lead, tired right at the end. GLADSTONE met with early interference and finished fast when clear. TOILER also met with early interference. RITOLA closed up some ground on the outside. STEEL-RIBS was knocked out of any change at the start. TRANSFER quit and was eased up. DAMASK followed the early leaders under restraint and. coming fast when called on. passed LIPINOO after taking the fifteenth jump, but was ridden out to the end. LIPINCO showed the most speed to the last half, jumped well and finished resolutely. TASSEL was much used in forcing the pace and tired badly. The latter was far kick in the early running, but moved up with a rush in the stretch and would have won in another stride. DAN GKROIS also finished with a rush on the inside.
