CALLS COMMISSION MEETING LEXINGTON. Ky., April 16— Polk Laffoon of Covington and vice chairman of the Kentucky State Racing Commission has issued a call for a meeting of that body next Thursday at 11:30 a. m. The meeting will be held at the commission offices here. Mr. Laffoon probably will be elected chairman of the body to succeed Senator Thomas A. Combs, who resigned because of poor health. Senator Combs was succeeded on the board b his brother, S. S. Combs, president of the Kentucky Association.
