DERBY ELIGIBLES ON VIEW Several to Start in Nicholasville Purse, Todays Feature at Lexington Course. LEXINGTON. Ky.. April 27— This morning brought only light activity on the part of Kentucky Derby eligibles over the local track. None of the few trials was pretentious, although Rolled Stockings appeared to advantage when lie ran five-eighths in 1 :02"3 in his final preparation for performance in the Nicholasville Purse, Thursday. Rolled Stockings galloped easily all the way, covering the quarter in :24Vi and half mile in :4and2i. Iedge, a Derby and Oaks candidate, breezed a half mile in :4S%, the quarter in 33% and three-eighths in ::!.Vt.. She ran an additional quarter but the high wind blowing up the stretch gave her no small amount of trouble and she finished the three-quarters in 1:1S. Comrade went an easy half mile in :51*s. Derby interest is focused upon the Nicholasville Purse, one of Thursdays feature races, and in which the Kentucky Derby candidates. Rolled Stockings, Buddy Bauer, llydromel and Aregal are scheduled to meet at one mile and seventy yards.
