PASSING OF DR. SPRENKEL. NEW YORK, N. Y.. June 1G. Racing lost another patron in the passing of Dr. W. F. Sprenkel, who died after an illness of several months at his home, 101 AVest Fifty-seventh Street, Wednesday evening and whose remains are now at the Campbell Funeral Parlor for services tomorrow. Dr. Sprenkel, who was a familiar figure of striking personality in the clubhouse enclosures of all the New York tracks, retired from the practice of medicine in Phiadelphia sevenil years ago and became well known in the sporting world. He was a regular visitor at the tracks j until last year, when he became a golf I enthusiast.
