f WASHINGTON PARK NOTES 0 HOMEWOOD, 111., June 16. Horsemen were notified today that scratch time and announcement of jockeys for Saturday would be 7 :30 a. m. L. McDermott put in his appearance this morning. He will ride J. N. Camdens Hy-dromel in the Derby. He accepted the mount on Doctor Rankin in the first race and Devon in the fourth. He came from Latonia. There is a telegram at the secretarys office for George Mundy, advising him of the death of his sister in Chicago on Tuesday. The H. P. Whitney candidate, Whiskery, arrived this morning from New York, in charge of Fred Hopkins. George Ellis and H. S. Shiliick were the riders who came along with the horse.
