DIVOT, close up from the start, passed the leader when reaching the stretch and drew away in the last sixteenth. MIST, also away forwardly, came fast through the stretch and finished well. SINON was away in a tangle and raced far back for three-eighths, then came fast when ridden hard and was racing gamely at the end. AMBITIOI7S set the early pace, but tired badly in the last sixteenth. NINETEEN SIXTY had no mishaps. BROCKWAY quit after going the first quarter. STITCHES ran well. DOCTOR RANKIN was away poorly. Won easily; second and third driving. BIG SWEEP rushed into the lead at once and, holding it gamely, set a fast pace, and drew away steadily in the last eighth. BROOMSTER raced in closest pursuit for the entire way and ran a good race. PRE AVEE finished fast after working through a rough race. BRUNSWICK had no mishaps and began tiring when reaching the last eighth. JACKBAUER threw his rider while at the post and tired badly after going a half mile. BALL GEE quit and so did DOLLY BAY. RIVAL raced into a good lead at once and, setting a fast pace, held sway for the entire race to win easing up. DARK PHANTOM lacked early speed, but came fast through the stretch and got up: for second place in the final strides. PRINCE RONALD also came fast through the last eighth and , finished well. PRINCESS PAN ran a fast half, but tired badly in the last sixteenth. MEKNES raced prominently for a half mile. SENATOR NORRIS was away poorly, but ran a bad race. ARABIAN came from far back in the last quarter and would have been second in another stride. SMILING GUS showed a fairly good race and, better ridden, would have won. BOLIVAR BOND, after racing far back, was gaining gamely when suddenly forced to race wide on the stretch turn, then had to be ridden hard near the end. MOSES finished well and had no mrahaps. MAGIC LIGHT raced well. SPELLBINDER and PAPA BLINKS quit when reaching the stretch. -
