The latter, always tlaas up crossed over sharply in the stretch run and impeded FALSE COLORS, then finished imlslllj and was wearing the winn.r cown. SHEPHERDESS raced forwardly and finished gamely. SANDSTORM, although tiring badly after making a turn of the field, was forced into the lead when EIDF.E and WAHKA1N ran out of the course at the last jump and easily held the lead afterwards. MASSILI.ON raced close up for the entire way, but his bandages behind came loose during the running of the race. KE-KON-ROY finished gamely. BARB WIRE was never close up. EIDER ran out of the course at the final jump while having a long lead. WARFAIN was racing gamely when he bolted into the wing nt the same obstacle. MONDAMIN fell lame and was taken around the last jump. GOLD COAST II. lost his rider at the second jump and BOLAUDER fell at the fourth. KATHLEEN CROSBY and MADRIGAL 11. fell at the seventh. GREENOCK, racing in quickly improved form, suffered from slight interference while rounding the far turn, then came on the outside of the leaders when entering the home strtcli and, finishing gamely, won in the last stride. STEPHANUS made up ground steadily and saved ground on tho turns, but his rider lost one of his stirrup irons near the finish and could not do his mount justice. CRYSTAL DOMINO closed a tig gap and finished gamely. ROLLS SOTCI tired in the final drhe. THE HEATHEN tjuit badly. Scratched— 237:U2Arno. US; 21091 Impcrator. 105. WARRIOR BOLD raced close up from the start and headed OWENA. but could not withstand the winner. OWENA set a good pace and was hard urged throughout, but tired in the last eighth. SCAPA FLOW moved into the lead after entering the back stretch and. making « fast pace, withstood challenges from STROLLING PLAYER and, racing the latter into defeat, finished resolutely. SIR HARRY began slowly, but worked his way up on the inside, saved ground on all the turns and finished fast. BROWN FLASH, a slow beginner, finished with a rush. KNAPSACK ran a good race. BUDDY BAUER had no mivbaps. JOCK was much used in the early racing and tired. STROLLING PLAYER ran a good mile and tired badly. ED1STO and GAFFSMAN quit early.
