IOETHTLE worked her way up on the inside and went to the outside of the leader after ronnding the stretch turn, then came fast through the final eighth and was going away at the end. GUINEA HEN showed the most speed from the start and saved ground where possible, but tired badly in the final sixteenth. GNOME GIRL raced close up throughout, but made a wide turn when entering the stretch, then came "again at the end. MOONLIGHT ran well for five-fcighths. TORPOINTER quit and so did GRACE H. ROSEATE II. raced in close pursuit of the winner from the start and finished well. MKNES liegan fast and had no mishap*. TIN HAT ran a fairly good race, but tired at the end. CHERRY PIE began slowly and was outrun, but closed a gap and ran past tired horses at the end. WASHAKIE ran well throughout. DAVID RONE was rushed into a long lead, but quit badly.
