RANOCK was going well at the end. MAY BAB had no excuses. BLUEMONT sprinted into a long lead in the first three-quarters, but tired badly. CLEARANCE raced SUN ROMAN into defeat, but was unable to withstand the winner. SUN ROMAN took a good lead while under restraint, saved ground until reaching the stretch, but tired thereafter. POLLS finished with good courage. SCAT, slow to begin, finished with a rush. LADDIE BUCK forced a good pace and tired after going three-quarters. The others were never factors.
