Ill E. close up from the start, raced into the lead after entering the stretch, finished resolutely and held the race safe at the end. HYPNOTISM showed the most speed from the start, raced LADY INYER into defeat and finished well. SCIMITAR began in a tangle, but closed a big gap and finished fastest of all. KINC, JIMMY ran well and had no mishaps. El FIE moved up with a rush after rounding the far turn and tired. MIRACLE ran well and had no mishaps. RAGWJEKD, close up throughout, made several challenges when called on, but was held safe. OlSKAU DOR. far bock for the first turn of the field, closed a big gap and finished fast. ENDICOTT moved up when called on and was eased up after taking the final jump. MADRIGAL II. also moved up when called on. but was not persevered with when he tired. Won driving; second and third the same. 1U.UE LARKSPl R crossed over sharply from the outside, causing a jam, then showed great speed when clear and headed the leaders in the final strides. JEAN VALJEAN showed the most early speed, withstood challenges from JACK HIGH and finished well. JACK HIGH was crowded at the start, but worked his way up and finished fast after being impeded when an eighth from the finish. ZOOM was crowded at the start and closed a gap after overcoming interference. HOLIDAY had no mishaps. SOUL Off HONOR ran a good race. SIMBA was forced back. VITO reced in close pursuit of the leaders to the last quarter, then moved up gamely while rounding the stretch turn and, passing the leaders when called on, was easing up at the end. GENIK was saved close up under light restraint and came fast and gamely when called on. but was easily out-finished by the winner. DIAVOLO was badly outrun to the far turn and came wide when entering the stretch, but outfinished P.ROOM WHISK in the final strides. The latter ran a good and game race and had no mishaps.
