CHARLES, close up from the start, raced into the had with a rush after going a half mile and won easing up. BLUE GRANITE raced in close pursuit after going the first quarters and finished resolutely, but could not reach the leader. MrCUI-LOCII raced promineutly to the final eighth, where he began tiring. ADA ADLER, forced back on the last turn, was done after going five-eighths, but out-gamed PATSY II. Tie latter showed the most early speed, but tired badly in the stretch. I.EE COOPER, away fast, raced into the lead at once, showed the most speed in the going and drew away from TOMMY in the final sixteenth, after slipping badly wheu an eighth out. TOMMY moved up gr.mely after reaching the stretch and tired in the last fifty yards. GLENNO began slowly and was taken back, but closed an immense gap while racing wide through the final three-eighths. BONI FERN saved much ground on the turns. NEPTUNIS had no mishaps. MERANO tired. PORT HARLEM raced under steady restraint and close up to the stretch, where he gradually wore down CURRENT anl held on gamely under her Loay weight. CURRENT had good early speed in the going, saved ground nnd held on well, but was overmatched. BEN MACHREE finished resolutely and wore down SPOOKY in the final strides.. The latter raced close up to the last eighth. LOUISE WII/-SON saved ground throughout. SAN .11AN failed to keep up under severe pressure in the first three-eighths aid quit in the stretch.
