SPAN was outrun to the head of the home stretch, where she came through next to the inner rail when the leaders came wide, then was hard ridden and outf inished WIGTOI. The latter showed the most early speed and raced ALACRITY into defeat, but made a wide turn when entering the home strtch. MILESTONE could never get up.
