SECRECY gained steadily in the first half mile and was lucky at getting through on the inside when entering the stretch, then raced up into the lend and won as his rider pleased. PHIL FOTO was outpaced to the stretch turn, then closed up an immen.-e gap on the outside and easily outla ite 1 SHINING LIGHT. The latter passed QUANAH into the early lead and showed good speed, but tired in the stretch. MURKY began slowly and was allowed to drop far out of it, but closed an immense gap on his own courage. HOMEW OOD raced as if much the best iu the going and, after forcing the pace to the stretch turn, raced into the lead and won in a canter. BI.LE BLOOD raced CHEROKEE MAID into early defeat and set a good pace to the stretch, but tired. BILL SETH besan slowly and was outpaced in the early running, but closed a big gap.
