PLUCKY PLAY NOT READY SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Jan. 21. Plucky Play will not meet Phar Lap in a special race at Tanforan to fit them for the Agua Caliente Handicap, Norman Church, owner of the former, stated today. "My horse has just been taken up and is at least six weeks away from a long, hard workout," Church said, and added that he understood the same was true of Phar Laps condition.
