The latter, showing good speed and well ridden, continued resolutely when challenged. TOY TOWN, saving ground throughout finished courageously in the final stages. DANGER ZONE, in close quarters early, finished gamely when clear. HIGH EXPLOSIVE met early interference. LOVE APPLE, forced to race wide, finished gamely under urging. SOCIAL BEE and OMARCAN met interference at the start. PRINCETON, away quickly, was saved off the pace and, guided to the outside, wore down the leaders in the stretch and had speed to spare. EVERYTIME, a factor from the start, raced NOAJOYCE and JACK HOWE into defeat and held on gamely after being overtaken. POLLYS FOLLY, outrun for three-eighths came through on the inside entering the stretch and finished resolutely. NOAJOYCE, an early factor tired m the stretch MY BEAUTY lacked early speed. MAKE SPEED, racing close to the leaders, came through near the stretch and, taking command in the last eighth, was hard ridden to withstand INFINITIVE. The latter showed good speed while following the pace of MORDEN, but bore out badly in the stretch, and came again near the end and would have been winner in a few more strides. MORDEN, hard ridden in the early stages, swerved out entering the stretch, carrying SUN TEATIME and INFINITIVE out, then tired. SUN TEATIME was carried wide. MARTHA D. showed a good performance. LITTLE GYP, a factor throughout, raced CHIEFS CAMILLE into defeat, saved ground after taking command, but could not withstand the rush of the winner. - PREFERRED improved hig position gradually and finished resolutely. BOGAN forced the early pace, but could not keep up. CHIEFS CAMILLE drew clear in the first eighth, but tired badly. FULL SWING could not improve his position. SILVER WAVE quit. BIG BO, securing racing room while weaving his way through the field after starting slowly, reached the leaders on the far turn, but swerved out in the last eighth, but outlasted DR. BILLY. The latter moved up fast after five-eighths, drew up on even terms with the winner in the closing eighth and held on well after being forced out. EDDIE LEHMANN, crowded back while racing on the inside early, recovered gamely and, going to the outside, finished fast. HAM tired after moving into contention. SHASTA CHARM met interference leaving the back stretch. HIGH PLAYER began very slowly. DEERFIELD and RONALD GREY quit. The latter, rated close to the leaders, took command midway around the turn, but tired badly near the end. ROBERTA L., sent into the first flight, closed fast.
