SINGING HEART, acting very unruly, began fast and, taking command at once, raced LUCY MENIFEE into defeat, saved ground when moving clear entering the stretch and held sway thereafter. DONALD LAD, forced wide near the stretch, held on gamely. DEEPIE, hard ridden throughout, tired in the final drive. SCOTCH BLOSSOM was forced to race on the outside until entering the stretch. STEFAN JR., quick to get going, showed good speed and, shaking off LOGWOOD, drew clear midway of the turn and held BOSCOBEL safe. The latter, in close quarters in the first half mile, came through near the stretch, swerved behind the winner and was held sate. JOHN BANE, crowded back early, came with a rush when coming through in the stretch. CHILE GOLD met early interference. WESTYS FOLLY raced on the outside all the way. DIZZY showed speed while having a rough race. CARYLDON tired and lost ground on the stretch turn. LITTLE GYP raced under light restraint in the first half mile, reached the leaders and, displacing the pacemakers in the final eighth, had enough left to withstand PENNATE. The latter, slow to reach full stride, came through on the inside in the final drive and closed resolutely. AT SUNRISE, under pressure from the start, forced her way through close quarters in the stretch and fought it out gamely. GAY PARTY finished with a rush. SONG HIT tired badly after racing THE POINT into defeat. THE POINT showed good speed for five eighths. The latter gained fast and was slowly wearing down the winner. MAINSHEET on the outside throughout, finished gamely. MAKE BELIEVE saved ground all tie way. TOREALONG showed speed in the late stages.
