BOBBING, a factor throughout, finished resolutely to outlast the fast closing TRUE SWEEP. The latter came through on the inside entering the stretch and finished gamely. MALIMOU, forced wide on the stretch turn, tired under pressure. MODERN ACE showed a good performance. GALLIVANTER began slowly. FLASHING COLORS dropped back early. SAINTLITE showed early speed. The latter, rank in the running, lost much ground, landed badly at the twelfth fence and finished well under urging. ROSEDALE II. raced well, but tired badly and under pressure outlasted RULER. The latter showed speed for the first turn of tha field, but quit at the end. JACK ANTHONY fell at the fifteenth obstacle and ARGONAUTE II. fell at the twelfth.
