REGUSTED acted badly at the post, but disposed of the others in the stretch. MIKE CAREY began in front, stumbled and fell after going fifty yards. ITSO and DON PABLO fell over him. BAD AXE and FINIR pulled up to avoid the accident, but galloped after the others. MIKE CAREY, after racing loose, bolted to the outside fence. It was evident, however, that SINGLEAM led throughout and, despite racing wide in the stretch, had enough left to withstand PRINCESS PERI. The latter finished resolutely next to the rail. FOUNTAIN, close up all the way, was doing her best at the end to outstay the fast finishing MAJOR GOMEZ.
