MOMO, much the best and taken back repeatedly, responded resolutely when ready in the final five-sixteenths, went around the leaders and won handily. OLD JUDGE closed resolutely to wear down BICHLORIDE in the final stages. The latter, on the outside after half a mile, worked his way into the lead entering the stretch and held on well. STINGER unseated his rider while at the post, then showed speed, but quit badly. PRINCE WESTEND, shuffld back, lacked speed when clear. OTTIE M. quit. STAR BROOK showed poor form. FAIR DELIGHT pulled up lame.
