PRECAUTIONS AT ARLINGTON System of Photographic Identifica ¬ tion of All Persons Connected With Stables and Grounds In the effort to make Arlington Park the best policed race course in the world man ¬ aging director Roy Carruthers today is go ¬ ing ahead with plans for a system of com ¬ plete identification for all persons on the grounds before and after racing hours hoursAll All stable employes such as grooms and exercise boys who make their homes near the horses will be issued cards of identifi ¬ cation upon which will appear their photo ¬ graphs Duplicate pictures will be filed in the office of the Arlington Park Jockey Club ClubIn In explaining the new plan Mr Carruth ¬ ers said the identif cation cards also would serve in lieu of badges for grooms and exer ¬ cise boys The night police force at Arling ¬ ton Park will be doubled the official added and a frequent regular patrol will be made all over the thousandacre property and any persons hot properly identified will be Ejected from the grounds groundsThe The principal aim of th e identification plan it was stated will be to minimize the chances of horses being tampered with Sev eral owners and trainers have been con ¬ sulted regarding the new pojicing method and all have endorsed it heartily Mr Car ¬ ruthers said saidAlthough Although the Arlington Park meeting does not start until Monday June 25 the work of photographing the employes of stables shipping there from other tracks will be be ¬ gun immediately sd that the added protec ¬ tion will be available for the first day of racing
