sensational winner of the Ken ¬ tucky Derby and the Preakncss and current hero of the American turf heads the list of eligibles for Chicagos two great stakes for threeyearolds the Classic to be run July 26 at Arlington Park and the American Derby scheduled for August 23 at Wash ¬ ington Park ParkA A checkup of the final payments for those two 40000 added fixtures was completed today It revealed the following facts factsSixtythree Sixtythree horses are eligible for Arling ¬ ton Parks Classic Stakes fiftyfour colts six geldings and one filly from the original nal list of 179 nominees nomineesSixtyfour Sixtyfour are eligible for Washington Parks American Derby fiftyseven colts six geldigns and one filly from the original list of 176 176Altogether Altogether seventytwo of the nations leading threeyearolds are on the two lists Fiftyfive of them are eligible for both stakes The Classic drew six colts and two fillies not in the American Derby while nine colts not in the
