SHIP MISTY ISLE TO BELMONT FOR TOP FLIGHT HANDICAP HANDICAPJoseph Joseph E Wideners Homebred in Fine Fettle for Fridays Event EventSTANTON STANTON Del June 4 With no imme ¬ diate stake engagement at Delaware Park Misty Isle threeyearold daughter of Sickle and Seven Pines will be shipped to Belmont Park tomorrow to try for honors in the Top Flight Handicap to be offered at the West chester County course Friday As a tune up for that one and onesixteenth mile stake the Joseph E Widener homebred ran a mile in 140 over a good track yesterday morn ¬ ing ingPete Pete Coyne trainer of the Metropolitan division of the Widener stable will saddle Misty Isle and then supervise her entrain ment to this track Goyne handled the filly during late summer and fall racing last year and saddled her for her victory in the Matron Stakes at Belmont Park Prior to that splendid effort Misty Isle won the Lafayette Stakes at Keeneland and the Hyde Park Stakes at Arlington Park Danny Stewart her present trainer developed the filly and when he was ready to return to Elmendorf Farm last summer he shipped her Roman and Moscow II to Coyne who at that time had his division of the Widener Stable at Saratoga Her winnings last year were 35835 35835Misty Misty Isle will carry 112 pounds in the Top Flight She has started three times this year all of which were at Churchill Downs After being well beaten at her first asking she came back to trine a fine field of fillies over seven furlongs and her last victory was over a mile She is eligible to the Delaware Oaks and Newcastle Handicap to be renewed here
