Asks Hildebrand Confirmation ConfirmationTRENTON TRENTON N J May 13 The state senate which met in special session here today was asked by Gov Charles Edison to confirm the appointment of William Hildebrand Sr of Orange as a member of the State Racing Commission Two va ¬ cancies recently occurred on the board which under the law shall consist of four members through the death of John P Gallagher of Harrison and the resignation of Louis A Reilly Newark The governor said that he is considering more than 20 names for the fourth post If the nomina ¬ tion of Hildebrand is approved by the sen ¬ ate the commission will have a quorum enabling it to transact official business without possible legal complications
