W J Harris Passes PassesLEXINGTON LEXINGTON Ky May 28 W J Harris 57 noted saddle horser authority died here Wednesday night following an illness of several weeks Harris organized and supervised the annual Junior League Horse Show here and managed horse shows at the Kentucky Indiana and Ohio State Fairs He headed and founded the W J Harris agency and had completed a statistical record of ribbons won by all the leading saddle horses in the country He was a frequent contributor to horse publi ¬ cations and authored books on Bourbon King and King Genius Harris was a member of the Thoroughbred Club of America and the American Saddle Horse Association Among the survivors are his wife and two daughters Joyce Ann and Barbara Jefferson Harris
