All Stalls for Garden State Meeting Have Been Allotted AllottedCAMDEN CAMDEN N J June 3 All stalls have J been allotted at Garden State Park for the 50day meeting opening on July 7 racing secretary Charles J McLennan announced today Stall applications for more than 1500 additional horses are on waiting lists he said saidWe We have been literally swamped by ap ¬ plications from horsemen this spring and it is just a physical impossibility to take care of all of them McLennan said In allotting the stalls we have been guided by two considerations the increase in the quality of horses and stables and the desire to take care of those horsemen who showed their loyalty by racing with us through our first season seasonMcLennan McLennan reported to president Eugene tylqri and general manager Walter H Don ¬ ovan that there was a notable advance in the number of name stables and better class horses on the lists this year Among the newcomers applying for stalls and nominating for the stakes are William Woodward master of famous Belair Stud and chairman of The Jockey Club several members of the duPont family who race their individual stables James C Ellis owner of Dade Park Allen Ti Simmons owner of Blue Swords who races one of ithe countrys largest stables under four trainers and others of national turf note
