Added Cash Riders Awards For Wheeling Victory Meet MeetWHEELING WHEELING W Va June 3 Added cash awards for top jockeys were announced here today by the Advisory Committee supervising the Victory Meeting now in progress at Wheeling Downs DownsAccording According to announcement made here today Mr J O Pearson chairman of the Victory Meeting Advisory Committee the awards will be made daily through the re ¬ maining days of the Charity Meeting the proceeds of which are being given to the American Red Cross and the Wheeling Community Fund Mr Pearson explained that an added cash award of twentyfive dollais will go to the rider atop two win ¬ ners during an afternoon If a jock rides three winners on the same program he will receive an extra fifty dollars while the rider of four firsts on the same card will receive one hundred dollars bonus bonusThis This new system of jockey awards be ¬ gan with Wednesdays racing and will con ¬ tinue each day for the rest of this week
