with good energy getting up in the closing strides BROWN DANCER raced forwardly throughout took the lead in the stretch and while holding on gamely was unable to cope with the bid of the winner ARDENELL outrun early closed with a rush on the outside through the stretch NOT YET hustled to the front was forced to meet stout opposition from LOST GOLD and tired in the final drive CANTERUP was moving up when LOST GOLD swerved out when tiring and had to be cased back CENTUPLE saved ground into the stretch LOST GOLD moved up stoutly nearing the stretch but began swerving when tiring in the
