Cheerful News for Perkins PerkinsSANTA SANTA BARBARA Calif June 10 Charles E Perkins wellknown California breeder and sportsman who is ill in Cot ¬ tage Hospital here was cheered yesterday by a cable from Cairo Egypt from his son and namesake which stated that the young Perkins had just been released from a war prisoners camp in Italy Young Perkins was taken prisoner on December 15 when his ambulance was on its way to a medical camp near Tobruk during the retreat of Rommel Perkins ignored the handicap of an artificial foot when enlisting for active duty with the British unit
