WHEAT, on the outside to the ] stretch, ducked to the inside when taking command during the drie, bumped MEADOW DEW and drew clear. The latter worked her way forward steadily, suffered interference from the winner near the three-sixteenths pot and then closed eanicly after recovering. FAST TEMPO assumed command at once, made 1 tbe pace to the stretch, then tired. ROSE RED could not threaten and liad no mishaps. FLY THE COOP 1 tired. GLORIOUS SEC forced the pace ot the stretch, then gave way. FARAWAY ISLAND had brief early l speed.
