Takes Out Trainers License LicenseSUFFOLK SUFFOLK DOWNS East Boston Mass May 29 Thomas Chamblet Veitch brother of the head trainer for C V Whit ¬ ney has been issued a trainers license by the Massachusetts State Racing Commis ¬ sion To mwill saddle Quarter Pole the Whitney candidate in todays Constitution Handicap The father of the boys Silas Veitch will be remembered by the old timers in New England who witnessed steeplechase races at the Brookline Coun ¬ try Club soon after the turn of the century The elder Veitch trained the jumpers of Robert Hooper whose nom de course was the Chamblet Stable and was recognized as the top stable of its kind in the country In later years a daughter of Mr Hooper raced under the name of Miss Chamblet
