1 COMMISSION ASKS FOR STAY. New York, June 25. The State Racing Commission, which on June 14 was directed by the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Brooklyn to issue a license to the Empire City track at Yonkers to hold a meeting and to assign racing dates, yesterday afternoon appeared before Justice Hirschberg in the Appellate Division and asked for a stay of the order.
