CHULITA CRIPPLED TO BE RETIRED Cincinnati O August 19 Chulita the bay three yearold Kingston Concertina filly owned by Col ¬ onel A b Labold of this city has broken down and will be retired to the stud She was a par ¬ ticular favorite with the Cincinnati racegoers and will go down in history as the winner of tlw Fleischmanu Trophy and Latonia Oaks Her break ¬ down was largely due to the accident that happened her in the race for the Oaks when she was crowded into the fence and almost thrown A ligament was wrenched and she steadily grew worse and she pulled up hopelessly broken down after a gallop the other day So once again Colonel Labold I without a stable as Chulita was the only oue to carry his colors this year
