Roseboro ran fairly well. Heine bad a. rough trip and can do ptcr. Snake Mary suffered from interference. Mirth was never prominent. Mattie Mack, showing improvement, went into a long lead from the start and had her early followers driving hard before going three-quarters, finished gamely and had the race safe through the stretch. Ethel Can-came with a rush in the last quarter and wore Margaret T. down for second phice. The latter was in close pursuit to the stretch, but tired and labored after going three-quarters. Lady Ethel ran a bad race and quit in the last half. Boema and Banrida had no mishaps. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Scratched 7742S Cygnet. 101. Overweights Margaret T 13 pounds: Boema. Dr. Holzberg set a fast pace for a half, but tired as if short in tlie stretch drive. Buffons ran fairly well and had no mishaps and finished gamely. Semproui quit after going a fast half. Tenorett vas on the extreme outside all the way. Tennessee Boy showed improvement. The others were never serious contenders. The winner was entered for 00: no Idd. Scratched 77405 Floreal. 104; 7712! Zienap showed superior early speed and but for being in close quarters during the stretch run might have won. Lady Martha made a good effort in the last quarter, but tired slightly near the end. The latter, away slowly and in a tangle, closed a big gap in the last quarter and would have won in a few more strides. Arionette, lucky throughout, showed the most earlv speed, but tired as if short in the last furlong. Miss Crittenden was gaining steadily at tho end. Enfield ran fairly well. Seuiproniuni closed a big gap in the last quarter. Elizabeth Harwood AAas caught in a jam at the start and had her chances destroyed.
