NEW STABLES FOR BRIGHTON BEACH Xew York December 31 Plans are being pre ¬ pared for new stables which will be erected within the Brighton Beach Racing Associations enclosure and work will begin as soon as the estimates have been made The space selected for the stables is the highest gvniiiul of the Brighton enclosure It over ¬ looks thotiirecquartfrs chute and the soil is a mix ¬ ture of sand and gravel placed there a few years ago during the building of the subway The char ¬ acter of the ground Insures perfect drainage Sev ¬ eral new features will be embodied in the construc ¬ tion of the stalls which will IK ready for occu pancy by April 1 according to tlte plans of Presi ¬ dent Kngeman In the matter of the license to race and the dates for a meeting a conference will be held with the Jockey Club oilicials within a few dayv Since the excluding of the Brighton Beacjj Kaclng Association from1 the list of recognized meelR ings it becomes an independent association and its mode of procedure will be to obtaln a license from the state racing commissionrand later make ade nmud on the Jockey Clubfor datcs
