MARYLAND JOCKEY CLUB FINANCES. Baltimore, Md.. December 5. The Maryland Jockey Club has just made public a statement of its earnings and expenses for the year ended November 30. The receipts from all sources were 03,-530.30 and the total operating expenses were 15,-C0S.S4. After putting aside something for current expenses and paying a six per-cent. dlvideut, 2,000 was douated to charity. The gross revenue derived from the pari-mutuel commission of five per-cent. was 70,020.20, which indicated that the total volume of speculation exceeded ,500,000 and probably averaged close to 50,000 for each of the 20 days on which racing was conducted during the year.
