TRYING TRACK AT JUAREZ MEXICAN COURSE IN WORST CONDITION OF PRESENT SEASON. Just Red Shows Ability as Mud Runner in Winning1 Feature Race of Day Henry McDaniel Sells Three Horses. 11 El Paso, Tex., December 17. Two favorites won their respective races at Juarez over the toughest . kind of- a track that there has been since racing began this season. The condition of the track today made, formful racing almost impossible, as the horses iloundered about- aud tired badly in the going that prevailed. Just Red, which was returned winner of the Az-tcca Handicap, is an exceptionally good mud runner. He justified the support given him by his admirers by winning the feature event and showed great gameness in a struggle that lasted throughout the final furlong. aiuy Buena, which won the fifth race today, was sold at private sale by Henry McDaniel this morning to T." The application of It. Small for a jockeys license was tabled by the stewards of the Jockey Club Juarez today. At the opening of the meeting Small was granted a trainers license for the purpose of handling horses of ills own and some belonging to J. W. Fuller.
