CHANGING FORTUNES OF A RACE HORSE. The -vicissitudes of some horses are remarkable. Take old Submit, for instance. He won a Cesare-witch. changed hands repeatedly and was eventually sold for 25 guineas. Theu we find him winning .selling hurdle races and eventually the big hurdle handicap at Saudown; and now he conies down to lie ontered in a cheap "seller" at Chelmsford. He was to have run for this race if bis veterinary owner could have got him to the post, but this he has been unable to do, the old horse having gone sore again. Loudon Sjwrtsman.
