WEEDING OUT H. P. WHITNEY STABLE. The stable of Harry Payne Whitney, which has been racing in Maryland in charge of Albert Simons, 1 has licen weeded out. several of the horses, mostly i two-year-olds, having been sold to other owners. The horse Clapper Bill, which ran disappointingly ! in his first appearance in this country, has Iieen j sold to Mr. Clopton, who. iu addition to this two-year-old, which raced well in Knglainl. has purchased the two-year-olds Klysian, a bay colt by Macdonald laradise, and Colden Clow, a bay colt I by All Gold — Rain ] aisy. Ed Trotter secured the I two-year-old Kuklux from the Whitney string. • This is a bay gelding by Broomstick — Valkyrie, I which has bhuwu speed ia his trials.
