PORTIA had no mishaps ami took the lead in the last eighth, but tin .1 when rhaBenged. WAWBEEK, crowded back at the start, had a rough race, but came around the lenders in the homestretch uml finished fast. IDEAL ran well. BANDALE set a fast pace and made a game finish. QUEEN OF THE WATEB raced forwardly and made a game effort at the eighth post, but was tiring in the closing strides. ARMAMENT tired after going three-quarters in the lead. PLUMOSE finished fast. AMBROSE ran a dull race.. Scratched— 33800 Stalwart Helen, 102; 33808 Dancer, 107.
