CANADA RACING SITUATION UNCHANGED i TORONTO Out June 30 When asked today y regarding the rumor from Latonia that racing ia a Canada was to begin on July 10 Secretary W P Froser of the Canadian Racing Association said it was news to him Nothing definite has been done and no arrangements have been made he said We are awaiting the proclamation of peace and no definite date has been set for that so far as I know From another source it was learned that the Do ¬ minion government has declined to make any spe ¬ cial dispensation for the Canadian Jockey Clubs n ud they will not be permitted to operate until the ohteriucouncil expires by the royal proclamation which la to declare the war legally at an end
