AUSTRALIAN SHARPERS PUNISHED Two turf guerrillas, with newspaper associations, played an old trick of English antecedents on a Sydney bookmaker last week. They are known as J. Ollalloran and E. J. Lynch and are in prison, serving a years time for their trick, which netted them 10. Ollalloran hart to pay hack 50 to the bookmaker. T. Clieneryr The pair of sharpers backed a horse named Lord Mimer to win two races at a meeting which was never held at Mor-uya, and then sent a report to newspapers describing the races as having been won by Lord Mimer.
