April 20. -That racing associations in the state of Ixmisiana be taxed ,000 daily for each day on which meetings are held was the resolution adopted by the police jury of Jefferson l*arish at their meeting Monday night. The Pariahs representatives in the state legislature will be urged by members of the police jury to support such legislation at the coming meet-I ing of the legislature.
