FAIRMOUNT PARK OUTLOOK General Manager C. B. Head Enthusiastic Over Approaching Meeting at Collinsville Track. LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 7— C. Bruce Head, general manager of the Fairmount Park Jockey Club, came over from St. Louis to confer with Col. Matt J. Winn with regard to the racing and plans or the Fairmount Park meeting. Mr. Head is highly enthusiastic over the prospects for the approaching meeting at Collinsville, 111. "Interest in our coming meeting is greater than ever," said Mr. Head. "We will have an abundance of racing material, a far better aggregation than has furnished the sport at our course previously. The same will apply to our jockeys. "Our stables have arcady been allotted, and among the owners assigned space are some of the leading ones in the country. The latest to secure quarters is T. J. Healey, who will bring fifteen horses owned by W. J. Salmon, including Black Panther, which will be a starter in the Fairmount Park Derby June 4. "Miller S. Henderson, in charge of twenty-five horses owned by the Audley Farm Stable, will shortly be an arrival to campaign this extensive band during the meeting. There is a host of other pretentious stables that will take part in our racing. "At present there are more than 100 horses in training at the track and each day finds additions. The numerous improvements instituted since last fall are about completed and everything will be in thorough readiness for the opening May 28." The program book, comprising the first period of the meeting, is now in the hands of the printer and will be ready for distribution next Monday. Secretary J. B.
